I don't know if you remember me but I had Clay's sister, Rikandan Catherine Douglas. Unfortunately I lost her on Christmas Eve 2004 to liver cancer, and it broke my heart. I now share my home with 2 Leos, Stormchaser Dream of Me (Coral) who is almost 4 years old, and my new baby Graceanna Chelan (Chelan) who is 9 months old. I do not show Coral as she does not enjoy it, but Chelan has taken to it like a duck to water. His first show was the Club Championship Show in October 2006 when he won the minor puppy class and qualified for Crufts 2007.
It seems strange that Clay and Katie died in the same year. As far as I know their father Bounty and their sister Buttons are still going strong.

I first saw a picture of a Leonberger in a pet supply catalog. We have a cat and golden retriever, both the loves of my life. Sammy, our golden has had many health problems his entire life and his 5 vets are amazed at his excellent condition. They can't believe how poor his heart is until they start doing testing, he looks and acts so healthy. He has a fantastic personality. My pets are my life and I think a leonberger would be a great addition to our family and your "children" are certainly fantastic. I haven't seen any leonbergers in person and look so forward to the dog show here in Fort Wayne in October. I hope to see you here with some of your family so I have the opportunity to meet.
